The Process
 |
After initial consultation and discussion of requirements, the first stage of the process is creating a 3d digital model. Typically this is produced using CAD files, although it is possible to work with hand drawn plans, photographs, and even sketches.
At this stage its important to establish the viewing angle(s) required – this helps to avoid unnecessary modelling, and therefore keeping the price low.
Any other information available such as photographs of the site and surroundings, references of materials to be used and landscaping plans are also very useful.

 |
Once the model is produced, a simple render is sent to you for feedback. If there are no changes required, the model is ‘signed off’ and the process moves to the next stage.
Work then begins on lighting, and adding materials to the model. This is where the image really starts to come to life. Complex lighting solutions replicate exactly how natural and artificial light will interact with the building. Materials to be used are then accurately replicated, taking into account countless considerations such as glossiness, reflection, surface bump and opacity.

People, trees, plants, birds and cars are added to suit your individual requirements and the style of the image.
Once you’re completely satisfied with the visualisation, a high-resolution version is emailed, or if you prefer posted to you on CD/DVD.
The process for creating interior visualisations, animations and panoramas is very similar. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss the process in more detail, please don't hesitate get in contact.
